Take your mixology to the next level because sometimes a little knowledge can be delicious!

SPICED APPLE CIDER INFUSION

1 teaspoon ginger
2 teaspoons allspice
1 teaspoon nutmeg
4 cinnamon sticks
1 cup simple syrup (Recipe Below)

Mix all spices with simple syrup. Place mixture in a quart glass container & fill with Smirnoff vodka. Infuse one week.
Serve warmed with cider, red wine or fruit juice.

Simple Syrup Recipe
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
Mix in saucepan and boil until sugar dissolves. Let cool. Store in refrigerator.

MOM'S OLD FASHION EGGNOG

3 eggs (pasteurized)
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
3 ounces Maker's Mark bourbon, Myer's rum or St. Remy French brandy
1 cup heavy cream or milk

Premium vanilla ice cream (optional)

All ingredients should be kept cold in  advance. In a blender beat eggs & sugar until thick. Add vanilla & alcohol & continue to beat. Add cream or milk & optional ice cream & stir. Garnish with a sprinkle of nutmeg. Serve immediately.

Serves 2.

WHITE CHOCOLATE MARTINI

 

3 ounces Ketel One vodka

1 ounce Godiva White Chocolate Liqueur

 

Shake, strain and serve in a martini glass. Optional garnishes include a chocolate stirrer, Hershey kiss or try lining the glass with some chocolate syrup swirls.
 

CHOCOLATE ESPRESSO MARTINI

 

3 ounces Van Gogh Expresso Vodka

 1 ounce Godiva Chocolate Liqueur

 

Shake, strain and serve in a martini glass. Optional garnishes include a chocolate stirrer, coffee bean or try lining the glass with some chocolate syrup swirls.


HOLIDAY MIMOSA

Grand Marnier or Prunier Liqueur d'Orange
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 bottle Cristalino cava champagne
1 cup orange juice (preferably fresh-squeezed)

Pour a small amount of the orange liqueur into a small bowl. Place the sugar in a saucer. Dip the rims of Champagne glasses first in the orange liqueur, then in the sugar. Fill each champagne glass with 3 ounces champagne and 1 ounce orange juice. Garnish with an orange wheel.

HOMEMADE CRANBERRY LIQUEUR

1 1/2 cups Smirnoff vodka
16 ounces cranberries
1 1/2 cups sugar
3/4 cup water
1/2 lemon peeled (rind only, no pith)
1/4 orange peeled (rind only, no pith)
1 cinnamon stick
1/8 teaspoon ground allspice

Chop the cranberries in a blender or food processor, lowest setting, until consistency of grits. Pour into clean jar that has a lid. Add the lemon & orange peelings & spices. Pour vodka over mixture. Boil sugar & water together until sugar is dissolved, let stand a minute & measure 1 1/2 cups into the jar. Seal the jar quickly. Let the mixture steep for 4 weeks, shaking lightly each day. Store in a dark place.


CRANBERRY CHAMPAGNE PUNCH

 

1 pint cranberry juice

 Juice of 1 grapefruit

 Juice of half a lime

 1/2 cup Smirnoff Cranberry Vodka or

Orange Vodka

 1/2 cup Orange Liqueur

 2 bottles Cristalino Brut Champagne, chilled

  

Mix all ingredients except champagne & garnishes in a punch bowl with a large cake of ice. Just before serving, add 2 bottles chilled champagne and garnish with cherries & orange slices.

 


THE PERFECT MANHATTAN

1 1/2 ounces Crown Royal whiskey
1/4 ounce dry vermouth
1/4 ounce sweet vermouth
2-3 dashes Angostura bitters

Mix all ingredients in a cocktail glass filled with ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a maraschino cherry.

To make a Dry Manhattan, use the above recipe but substitute dry for the sweet vermouth & garnish with a twist of lemon peel instead of a cherry.

RASS-BAILEY MARTINI

1 1/2 ounce Bailey's Irish Cream
1 1/2 ounce Chambord raspberry liqueur
1 ounce heavy cream
1 teaspoon simple syrup *recipe below*

Make simple syrup, let cool. Mix all ingredi-ents in a shake filled with ice. Strain & pour into martini glass. Garnish with raspberries.

Simple Syrup Recipe:
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon water
Heat in a microwave safe dish until dissolved.
